This should be a fun Blog Hop! Whenever anything funny happens around here it usually comes from my youngest son Hunter. He loves to draw.
Normally he draws characters from the show Lost, or he will do Indiana Jones.
Lately, though, I'm thinking the hormones are kicking in. I'm seeing more and more pictures like this....
Did you happen to notice the cleavage on this one?? The other night he showed me his latest creation. I can't remember exactly how he described it, but the girl is mad and telling the boy that all he thinks about are girls. The boy is supposed to be embarrassed. Once again, notice the cleavage. This one is supposed to have a six pack too! It just cracks me up. No more Indiana Jones I guess. Sigh........

HEY! I TOTALLY want that photo of Dr. Farraday from lost. hey, Shauna, all kidding aside, do you think i could "comission" a drawing from your son of the Lost cast? Do you think he'd be up for that? I mean, not every single person becuse theres like a million people on the show, but I love to support artists (my husband is one) and I would love a drawing in his style of the main characters of the show. I'd be willing to pay 40 dollars. I think it would be a greaat gift for my husband, he's really get a kick out of it. Let me know what you think (how old is your son, anyway? Great drawing).
ReplyDeleteSecond, girl... i LOVE that necklace and bracelet set. SWEET! I'm tottally getting into chunkier, more retro style jewlery.
Let me know wht you think about the sketch, or if I just sound like some crazy lady from the internet. ;) Might be a positive experience, his being paid for a piece of art. My husabdn was paid early on to do artwork for his father' sbusiness, and it really encouraged him. now he has his own graphic design company. :)
Blessings,
Nicole
Shauna,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliment on the hair and tha'ts grata that you'll approach your son about the "comission". :) I love children's drawings, especially kids right at your son's age who are great artists for their age but the images still aren't perfect because they have some learning to do still with technique. But that's what makes them all the more precious. :)
Ok, let me know. And of course no pressure... :)

ReplyDeleteHe's very talented -- just a little hormonal! But, that's to be expected from a boy his age...
ReplyDeleteThose are great drawings! I think your right about the hormones kicking in. :)

ReplyDeleteHe's quite a good young artist...even with the cleavage to the chin...LOL!
