Apple House Visit

I finally feel like I'm returning to the land of the living. It's been a long week. Thanks for all the well wishes!

We went to Talking Rock yesterday to my aunts house. It was a girls lunch with my mom, her four sisters and my cousin. We had such a good time. We visited the Panorama apple house. They have so much to offer there. I picked up some apple salsa. I may use it with a pork roast. Yum! Maybe a recipe to come!
We bought some Mutsu apples. I had not heard of these kind before. They are a cross between a Golden Delicious and an Indo apple. So good!

How do you like my first attempt at a collage? Sad huh? I used Picasa, it's not the best! I had so many other pictures I wanted to add to it but for some reason it kept deleting those. Any suggestions for collage software?

Hopefully I can get caught up on my reading list. Can't wait to see what everyone has been up to!

  1. I think that is awesome for your first attempt. I have done only a few and still struggle with them. I use Photoshop Elements 7.

  2. I like it! Did you have a collage in mind when you took all your pictures or did you just do that good at mixing and matching photos that you took from your ladies day?

There are so many great apples out there that people don’t know about.I love apples. I used to work with 2 of my best friends who also loved apples. We had a talk one day about our favs (this is where the story gets a little crazy) and decided to start a make-shift apple club. It started as a joke but we really got into it. Every Friday we would rotate who brought in a new apple to try. Other people we worked with thought it was silly but after a few weeks of getting our apple left overs they started bringing apples in on Fridays too! That was a few years ago but we still laugh about it!

  3. I am very impressed with your collage. I have no idea how to do that kind of stuff. And I'll put in my 2 cents on the apples and say I LOVE honeycrisp.
